Cape Tribulation Wilderness Cruises
Join the only tour boat permitted in the Cape Tribulation section of the Daintree National Park on a mangrove discovery tour in search of the estuarine crocodile.
Wind your way from Cooper Creek’s Coral Sea mouth towards the panorama of Queensland’s third highest mountain, Thornton Peak, on a leisurely and informative cruise into this unique world of mangroves.

Solar Whisper Daintree River and Wildlife Cruises
Solar Whisper is the only solar electric boat on the Daintree River and is one of the few boats that can travel into the small tributaries where the big boats can’t. The vessels are designed to treat this fragile ecosystem and the animals within it with the respect it deserves . Get closer to nature with no fumes, no loud noises and no wake.
The wildlife is totally wild so you never know exactly what you will see, however crocodiles are seen on most tours (if you don’t see a crocodile enjoy a free return cruise!), as well as birds, snakes and frogs. Local Daintree tea, coffee and biscuits are included.

Cape Trib Horse Rides
Experience the unrivaled beauty of Cape Tribulation like a true explorer with a guided horse riding tour!
Discover an abundance of local flora and fauna as you weave through the majestic Daintree Rainforest on horseback on your way to Myall Beach. Once there, you will explore the beautiful coastline with views of the Great Barrier Reef and have the opportunity to walk your horse into the shallow waters of the ocean (clarity permitting and only at the discretion of the guide), providing great photo opportunities to capture your experience.

This is a classic 4WD tour through beautiful creeks from Cape Tribulation up the Bloomfield Track, with lots of sightseeing stops along the way such as Donavans Range lookout, Cowie Beach, Woobadda Creek, Bloomfield River lookout, Wujal Wujal Falls, Emmagen Beach/Creek, plus Cape Tribulation Beach, Coconut Beach views and an interpretive walk through 400 million years of plant evolution at Madja Boardwalk.

Option 2: Cooktown Tour (extended full day)
History and nature are combined on a multi-featured tour exploring the Bloomfield Track and Cook’s Cooktown, including the Wujal Wujal (Bloomfield) Falls. Packed with great scenery, lots of stops, diverse vegetation and of course the opportunistic wildlife, venture further up the Track past Wujal Wujal along the Bloomfield River to Cooktown. Lion’s Den Hotel, Black Mountain, Keatings Lagoon Wetlands, Grassy Hill and the Cooktown Botanic Gardens are some of the usual stops on the way. Depending on weather conditions, you can also visit the spectacular Archer Point, by dropping some other stops or reducing the time in Cooktown.

There’s a lot to explore during a visit to the Daintree. Surreal backgrounds to secluded coral fringed beaches, crystal clear creeks, 400 million years of plant evolution, the world’s most diverse mangroves in one place, strange and fascinating fauna, colourful fungi, peculiar geology and a whole lot of history. All of it concentrated right here around the Daintree Coast / Cape Tribulation section of the Wet Tropics of Queensland. If you have special interests, or maybe time constraints, a tour can be tailored to suit your plans. This tour visits some of the key features of the Bloomfield Track, with interpretation and an oversight into as many aspects of the rainforest, reef, mangrove and beach as possible.
